NOLVAMED 20 (Tamoxifen Citrate) is a selective estrogen receptor modulator-SERM that doctors prescribe to their patients for treating metastatic breast cancer or adjuvant treatment of breast cancer an for palliative treatment of premenopausal women with ER-positive disease. The tablets contain 20mg and tamoxifen citrate along with some excipients.Tamoxifen inhibits estrogen from attaching to its receptors that causes tumors to grow at dangerous rates if left untreated.It also destroys cells with estrogen receptors.As prescribed but usually around 20mg daily.
Avoid using it if you have endometriacl CA, liver disease, cardiovacular or metabolic disorders, postmenopauseal bleeding, vision problems, striek or pulmonary embolism.Butalbital, cimetidne, secobarbital SSRI antidepressants are some medications that shouldn’t be used alongside NOLVAMED 20.
