T3- Liothyronine sodium is a synthetic thyroid hormone that goes by the name Cytomel. This drug was introduced in 1950, and even then it was used as a hypothyroidism treatment. T3 has many positive effects on the human body, such as fat burn, cellular functions, and overall well being. It also helps to improve an athlete’s body performance and lose weight by lifting oxygen in blood cells for faster tissue regeneration. The most common side effects are insomnia, trembling, nausea, worriedness, irregular heartbeat, and natural Thyroid hormone reproduction suppression. Use of Beta-adrenoblockers will reduce chances of side effects though. Just make sure you take T3 early in the day so you don’t have trouble sleeping at night. If you’re taking other medications affecting your blood pressure or heart rate too then be sure to take extra care when stacking them with T3.
