Created by G.D. Searle & co under the Anavar label back in the 60’s Oxandrolone has had a complicated history. After massive pressure on steroid manufacturers from the FDA, Oxandrolone almost completely disappeared from the markets but made a comeback in the mid-90s under the Oxandrin label. Today, Oxandrolone is much cheaper than it was many years ago, but still can be called one of the most expensive anabolic steroids. It has many therapeutic applications and is widely used to treat traumas, muscular dystrophy, osteoporosis and hormonal and nutritional dysfunction. Bodybuilders and athletes use it for another reason – enhancing their athletic performance along with big pumps using desired muscles. The most common adverse reactions attributed to Oxandrolone are acne; temporary testosterone reproduction shutdown; high Low-density cholesterol level (LDL); raised liver enzymes.
