Each exemstane 25mg tablet has 25mg of exemstane along with excipients.Exemestane is classified as steroidal Type I aromatase Inhibitors that stop certain types of tumors from growing any bigger.Some cancers thrive off estrogen hormones produced in the body and if the activity of aromatase - which helps generate estrogen - is stopped by Exemestane, then it leads to a slowing down or reversal of cancer growth. This medication has a half-life of 24 hours.
